Joseph E. Fournier
Founder & Managing Attorney
Joseph E. Fournier is an attorney who has more than twenty years of experience advising and leading companies and individuals in a variety of capacities.
Joe has significant experience in a variety of business legal matters, including start-ups and company formations, drafting shareholder and operating agreements, contracts, employment law, commercial litigation, tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He also handles estate planning matters, such as business succession planning, wills, trusts, and probate.
Joe has a unique perspective on how to represent and advise his clients. He passed the uniform CPA exam in 1993. Further, and prior to starting his own law firm, he spent more than five years in the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the largest professional services firms in the world, served as General Counsel for a nationwide medical records management company, and then spent three years as Managing Attorney and COO for one of Connecticut's leading law firms.
Joe received his law degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Law and his Accounting degree from the University of Rhode Island. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and the U.S. District Court for CT. He is periodically an Adjunct Professor and lecturer at the University level and has been a frequent speaker on business planning and legal matters.
Joe is on the Board of Directors of the Urban Community Alliance, he is the Founder and initial Director for the FLS Foundation, Inc. (our Little League scholarship program), and he is a member of the Benchwarmers which supports Coginchaug Regional High School athletics and student-athletes.
Joe enjoys spending time with his family and dogs and traveling to warm weather locations. When he is not coaching his children, he is trying to compete with them in the gym, on the tennis court, or on the golf course.

Haley E. Veller
Of-Counsel Attorney
Haley is Of-Counsel to the firm. Haley's practice focuses on Family Law, Probate Law, and Estate Planning. She also served as a Staff Attorney in the Probate Court System for 13 years. She loves to help clients through the court process during what is a difficult time in their lives.
Born and raised in Vermont, Haley came to CT to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law. In Law School, she was President of the Public Interest Law Project serving the needs of the underrepresented. She also served as a participant and coach of the Moot Court Appellate Court Program. Haley earned her bachelor degree at the University of Vermont in Burlington.
Growing up in Vermont, Haley developed her love of all things outdoors including hiking, biking, skiing, and playing with her dog. She and her husband also enjoy spending time at the sea shore and listening to live music.
Noah Johnson
Attorney
Noah is an attorney who operates out of the East Haven office. Born and raised in Connecticut, Noah received his bachelor's degree from Connecticut College, and his law degree from Loyola Marymount University Law School.
Throughout his educational and professional careers, Noah has worked as an advocate for others, spending time at non-profit organizations in New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC. In law school, he was the president of the criminal law society and participated in Loyola Law School's Juvenile Justice Clinic. Noah also worked as a law clerk on personal injury matters, and now primarily focuses on business law and employment litigation.
In his free time, Noah enjoys cooking and hiking and is an avid baseball and basketball fan.
Michel Pascal
Attorney
Michel is an attorney in our East Haven, CT office, with a focus on Estate Planning and Probate. Michel was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, and her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
In her free time, Michel loves spending time with friends and family, enjoys fitness and staying active, and being a cat mom.
Anthony Sette
Attorney
Anthony is an attorney with the East Haven office. Born and raised in Connecticut, Anthony is a proud Notre Dame West Haven alumni. He received his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from the University of New Haven. Anthony attended Quinnipiac Law and attained his Law degree.
While in law school, Anthony received recognition for Superior Classroom Performance from multiple professors. He also served as a mediator in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Club.
In his free time, Anthony enjoys watching movies, trying new restaurants with his wife, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dyame Bowman
Paralegal
Dee is a Paralegal at our East Haven, CT office. Dee received her cosmetology license during high school, which she followed with an Associates degree in Political Science/Law Studies from Asnuntuck Community College, and a B.S. in Political Science/Legal Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Central Connecticut State University. Dee is an incredible addition to our team, as she takes great pride in serving our clients and pleasure in being a team player. Dee plans to study for the LSATs and possibly attend law school next Fall.
Aside from working at Fournier Legal Services and servicing her clients as a hair stylist, Dee also enjoys reading books, going to the gym and baking in her free time.
Edward Fournier
Front Office Manager & Legal Assistant
Edward is our Front Office Manager and a Legal Assistant at our East Haven office. He helps out with all aspects of the office's needs, including managing new client leads, answering the phone, greeting office visitors, and assisting the attorneys with other legal matters. Edward serves the office's day to day needs that keep our operations flowing smoothly.
In his free time he likes to cook, golf, spend time with his friends, and play with his dog.
Casty Mutembei
Paralegal
Casty is a paralegal based in Kenya. She graduated from the Moi University School of Law and later attended The Kenya School of Law. Casty holds extensive knowledge across multiple areas of law including litigation, corporate, intellectual property, procurement, risk and compliance, as well as public policy and governance. Casty is also an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in her 4th year of practice.
In her free time, she loves to cook, take walks with her dog, travel with her friends, and design spaces for her friends and family.
Ava Marenna
Paralegal Intern
Ava serves as a paralegal intern in our East Haven, CT office. Prior to this role, she worked as both a probate paralegal and an intern supporting the Little League Scholarship Program through the FLS Foundation, Inc. Ava recently earned her B.A. in English and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and will begin her first year at the University of Connecticut School of Law this fall.
Outside of the office, Ava enjoys reading, going on walks in the summer, spending time with friends and family, and traveling the world with her roommate.
Serena Fournier
Marketing Manager
Serena is in charge of the marketing for Fournier Legal Services. She manages our social media, our website, blog posting, newsletters, and our Little League Scholarship program (the FLS Foundation, Inc.). Serena currently attends University of Connecticut where she is studying Accounting.
In her free time, she loves to exercise, spend time with her friends and family, and enjoys going to concerts.
Sally O'Hara Landback
Partner — Retired
Sally is a partner of the firm and is operating primarily out of our CT office. She has more than 20 years of experience working on corporate and business matters in both a law firm setting and as corporate counsel at an international franchisor. Sally has significant M&A experience. She also enjoys helping businesses with startup issues, employee agreements, and contracts, including technology, software licensing, and SAAS agreements.
Sally strives to make sure her client's business needs are being met while keeping a close eye on the bottom line costs.
Sally graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in History, with a focus on Chinese intellectual history, and received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Sally enjoys gardening, mountain climbing, backpacking, and kayaking on Long Island Sound.
