Fournier Legal Services, LLC and the FLS Foundation, Inc. Announce Sixth Year of Little League Scholarship Program

New Haven, CT – Fournier Legal Services would like to announce the sixth year of its Little League Scholarship Program. The Connecticut-based law firm created the FLS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, to fund and pay for annual Little League baseball and softball registrations for families in each town in its local district and in the surrounding region. The Foundation has awarded nearly 100 scholarships during the first five years of the program.

Fournier Legal Services is dedicated to giving back to its community. Little League is an organization that it cares about tremendously and with which the company, its employees, and their families have had positive experiences over the years, as players, parents, coaches, and sponsors.

“Little Leagues enhances the fabric of many of our local communities,” said the firm’s founder, Joe Fournier. “I personally had a fantastic Little League experience in my hometown of Warwick, Rhode Island, and my family has enjoyed tremendous experiences in baseball and softball at Coginchaug Little League in Durham, Connecticut. During that time, we also had the pleasure of interacting with the adult administrators of other local leagues, along with the boys and girls who will be the future leaders of our communities. As a local business, we want to make sure all children and their families have an opportunity to enjoy their little league experience.”

The firm will be reaching out to Little League Boards of Directors across Connecticut over the next several weeks, giving each of them an opportunity to participate in the program.
