Fournier Legal Services and the FLS Foundation Announce Fifth Year of Little League Scholarship Program

New Haven, CT – Fournier Legal Services would like to announce the fifth year of its Little League Scholarship Program. The Connecticut-based law firm, which pays for one Little League registration annually for a family in each town in its local district and in the surrounding regions, has awarded nearly 60 scholarships during the first four years of the program. The company has now created the FLS Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit, to accept contributions and manage the scholarship program.

Fournier Legal Services is dedicated to giving back to its community. Little League is an organization that it cares about tremendously and with which the company, its employees, and their families have had positive experiences over the years, as players, parents, coaches, and sponsors.

“Little Leagues are the fabric of many of our local communities,” said the firm’s founder, Joe Fournier. “I personally had a fantastic Little League experience in my hometown of Warwick, Rhode Island, and my family has enjoyed tremendous experiences in baseball and softball at Coginchaug Little League in Durham, Connecticut. As a local business, we want to make sure other children have an opportunity to enjoy their little league experience.”

The firm will be reaching out to Little League Boards of Directors across Connecticut over the next couple of weeks, giving each of them an opportunity to participate in the program.
